"The oil pastel arrived carefully packed and even more beautiful in person. You can feel the texture of the paper and the patience in every layer."

Reviews
"I bought a print for my study and ended up commissioning an original. The whole process felt personal, quiet, and completely un-rushed."
Marie L. · Berlin"There is a stillness in these drawings that is hard to describe. The ink sketch now hangs where I have my morning coffee and it stills the room."
Thomas R. · Lisbon“A drawing is just a long, slow way of paying attention.”
Desislava Fileva is a one-person studio. The drawings begin as things noticed on a table at ten in the morning — a bowl of citrus, a folded napkin, the hour the east window behaves — and end as the only record of that hour.
Each original is sold once, with a signed certificate. Prints are made to order on archival cotton paper, in editions that stay open so a drawing can live in more than one room.
